Chinese New Year 2013
The event this year was made more special because we had family from Australia visiting. And since they were here, we ordered a whole roast pig from Double Happiness! Jealous?
For those who have no idea how to order roast pork for the festivities, I suggest that you call your favourite BBQ shop ahead of time and place an order. That way you don't have to resort to waiting in the long lines in Chinatown, T&T, and other Chinese grocery stores. Some places might not allow you to do it though.
This is the table all laid out. My fingers were dirty from the crab legs to take photos during lunch. And dinner? Come on... can you say ribs and more crabs? Oh ya baby!
The fruit platter and banana cake.
Mom's meat pie.
Cold vegetable with chicken.
Dungeness crab with onions.
Chow mein.
Fully-loaded soup. And finally, in all of it's crackling glory...
