Deli Sandwiches from the Golden Rooster - September 14, 2009

Yes, these sandwiches tasted as good as they looked.



Jimmy's spicy salami sandwich. Whole wheat bread, everything on it, pickles on the side.



My house pâté sandwich. Rye bread, everything but butter, pickles on the side.

I'm not sure if these were technically within The Diet, but the veggies were exceptionally fresh. This late lunch cost less than $10, making it a favourite in our books. In fact, I think I might drop by for a sandwich tomorrow!
